  1. Nope.

Tell whoever you trying to call to get call waiting.

  2. It used to be possible to call the "Operator" and ask them to TKO(Trunk Offer) the line and ask the person if they would accept your call-not sure if it is still available now we have numerous Service Providers!

  3. you could cal their phone-provider, talk to a supervisor, and tell to check this particular line!!!, but that's all you can do!!!

  4. you can call the operator and ask to do an emergency break thru.. .it could be expensive to do so.. several dollars...

but, if the busy signal is there because a trouble in the line, then there is nothing you can do... most people have call waiting, so a busy signal usually indicates a defective line or phone, that the person is dialing, or someone is ringing there phone, all circuits are busy, or they are on 3 way, or already have a call waiting while they are on the line...

  5. No, I don't believe.

  6. No, there isn't. Besides, that would be very rude.
