Not bad to have the first two in the betting for a race at the Cheltenham Festival. Unless you’re Paul Nicholls in which case it’s almost par for the course. Long Run has won three Grade Ones – two in France and then the Feltham Novices Chase at Kempton on Boxing day. He looked a bit flat at some of his fences but still won by 13 lengths. Punchestowns was a top staying hurdler and won his chasing debut at Newbury last month. He’s entered for Kempton on Monday.
