I can see where they are coming from for providing extra training places for 16-18 year olds. But to do so to encourage more young women to get married? Isn't that interfering in 'the nanny state' as they would put it, if it was a Labour policy?

Your opinions please, and keep it clean and relevant.

  1. Yes, less interference in my family life.

  2. yes

  3. Cameron's playing to the crowd with most of his policies at the moment.

Once he gets in he probably wont do anything he's said.

  4. On this you may rely: Conservatives want to be told when to p**p and where. All that "self-determination" talk is just window-dressing for tourists who don't know any real-life conservatives.

  5. I have to say I am not sure of the link between apprenticeships and stable family life..... not sure where they have had this from,  people with parents who instill pride, confidence and values in their children  seem to have children who themselves have similar stable lives... ( and I will add I know many friends who have divorced parents but have very stable family lives themselves... so having married parents does not necessarily mean your future family life will be stable)... But my pet hate is the state's general "nannying " from cradle to grave... I am sick and tired of being dumbed down to the level of an amoeba

  6. Agree. Also - these much vaunted "hardworking families" mainstream politicians speak of are in the minority; figures show that very soon 2/3 of households will be a single person living alone. So politicians are imposing their worldview and morality on us once again ! Or trying to......lol.

  7. Huh? Oh wait lol its in Europe no wonder I was like ??????

  8. im sorry to be rude but the tories dont have a clue what they are doing

    theyre complete hypocrites

yes, had labour done that they would have kicked up a fuss saying that its a "violation of our human rights", but because they did it its okay

    labour ftw

  9. That depends who they are interfering WITH!!
