  1. Ah,  I'd seek treatment for arachnophobia.   Its a long process.  But worth it.  Trust me.

  2. Go to a zoo or places where spiders are exhibited, go often as possible as you can & try to hold pet spiders with their owners besides you. Gradually you will get used to their presence and this might help you overcome the fear of spiders.

You should also know that -

Many people find spiders repulsive and scary, yet the majority of spiders are harmless and beneficial. Only four kinds of spiders are known to cause health problems in the U.S.

Spiders are far more beneficial than they are dangerous. The benefits we realize from spiders preying on insects, mites, and other spiders far outweigh the low potential health hazard to humans.

  3. Oh, my dear sweet person!  There is no need "whatsoever" to be afraid of spiders.  No matter how big a spider is, you are bigger, and stronger, and faster, and more intelligent.

Spiders are wonderful, beautiful creatures that inhabit our planet to bring beauty and diversity to it, and to keep it healthy.  Did you know, that if it weren't for spiders we could not exist.  That's right.  Spiders help keep insects, other spiders, and even mice, lizards, frogs, and snakes under control.  If it were not for them we would be overrun by things like mosquitoes, flys, gnats, and other pesky and harmful insects.

99.9% of the spiders in the world are "harmless" and cannot hurt you.

You would be amazed at the sight of an Orchid Spider.  It's probably the most beautiful spider in the world.  It is about the size of a pencil eraser and is blue, orange, green, white, black, and yellow.  It spins a little web and catches little flys and gnats for food.

If you took the time to really examine a spider through a magnifying glass you would see just how interesting they are, and you would lose your fear as you gain more knowledge and understanding of them.

Next time you see a spider, remember, you are the bigger, more powerful, and more intelligent being.  And, if you wanted to you could squash that tiny little creature very easily.  So, who should be afraid of who?  YOU are its supreme being.

  4. Well, the other day after having 2 spiders surprise the h**l outta me I got the creepy crawlies and was paranoid for hours. My friend suggested taking a shower, and it worked. I didn't feel paranoid anymore.
