The retired footballer voiced his disdain regarding Madrid’s current run in the Spanish Primera and has stated that it is due to an attitude problem.
Former Real Madrid forward, Emilio Butragueno, has claimed that Los Blancos are struggling in the Spanish La Liga due to problems in the locker room which have been aggravated due to the attitude of the players.
While talking to Canal+, the 49-year-old quoted:
"There is a big deficit with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, but we must continue. On Tuesday we have an important match. We lacked the luck to get back into the game, and there was an attitude problem. We must be united, whether we are winning or losing."
Continuing the discussion, the retired legend also shed some light over the issues faced by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 in the Spanish capital.
"He is a key player, hopefully he'll continue for many more years here. [We already spoke about money], we need to return to normal," he added.
The reigning champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 dropped 8 points in the league standings of the Spanish Primera Division, as a result to their latest defeat this weekend.
Los Vikingos travelled to Andalusia this past Sunday in order to lock horns with Sevilla at the Estadio http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ramon-c30533 Sanchez Pizjuan. To the dismay of the home crowd, the hosts were able to record a 1-0 victory over the Spanish giants.
Piotr Trochowski’s strike in the opening minutes of the match was enough to see Sevilla grab all three points from the league fixture. As a result, the Whites have fallen lower in the league standings.
Prior to the defeat, Madrid were embroiled in solving a number of issues at home and experts believe that it is the same reason that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit were unable to perform this weekend.
Butragueno has emphasized that Los Blancos cannot afford another slip up in the Spanish La Liga. He added that fortune did not favour the Whites on Sunday, a fact which was aggravated due to the behaviour of the players.
