Butterfly Question?

I am writing a research paper on how humans impact butterflies. I know that we are affecting their abilities to camoflauge themselves, but are there any other ideas?

i know a lot, myself included that plant butterfly gardens to attract them. not sure how that would impact them except maybe to feed them .

Insecticide use on farms and gardens. (These affect all stages of the life-cycle).

Agricultural monoculture reducing environmental diversity.

Habitat reduction.

Global warming is now enabling many species, including butterflies, to extend their range northward.

If I think of any more I'll add them later but that gives you something to be getting on with.

The monarch butterfly over winters in only one area on Mexico. Habitat destruction threatens the species. Insecticides kill butterflies. Habitat destruction threatens the food sources of butterflies and their caterpillars and the migration routes. How many end up stuck in car grills? How will global warming effect diferent butterflies?
