Butterfly/fairy wings for birthday party?!!?

Question

My daughter is having a butterfly tea party next weekend and I'm looking for fairy wings to use a party favors. I'm able to find them sold separately but would prefer to buy them in bulk (like a package of 8 or 10)

does anyone know where I can get them in bulk?

also-any craft ideas for a butterfly theme party?

I think Walmart has them, but separate:)  Try Party America, or another party store that sold Halloween costumes.  Maybe they have some left that they'd sell to you in bulk .....  Get cheap flip-flops at a craft store, with glitter glue, and butterflies to glue on (they'll have all sorts of decorations for them) and let the girls make their own.....  Even though you'll have a cake, you could make some butterfly cookies, and let them decorate them to take home.....

Are you talking about ones they can actually wear? Or little key chains or something?

I think you'll be able to find what you are looking for on the Oriental Trading site. They have a ton of party favors, activities and decorations for various themes and ages.

If you want to do it on the cheap and IN NO TIME...  use the craft foam for the wings...cut them out in butterfly wing shapes or dragon fly shapes.(... lay on a layer of glue and sprinkle on glitter and even use confetti that is shaped to your party... maybe happy birthday..the girls can do this as a craft if you wish...for the party, just assemble the wings first with the elastic and have them have a go at decorating)  .  You can staple the wings together, an staple on elastic to each wing ... so the girls can put them on over their arms..very cool!  Did this for our girls... they loved it...
