  1. "Good" is a relative term.   If you're swimming the first 50m fly (long course or short course?) of your life (I'll assume it is long course), doing a 41 would be good.  I once coached a 12 year old girl who could do a 29, but she was the National Age group record holder for 200 yd IM (short course).

So, if you're going 33 or 34, you'll win some and lose some.  The ones you win you'll think are good but, the same ones might be bad, too.  Just look at your time and know that you competed, had fun and did your best while demonstrating the skills your coach taught you..

  2. well it depends how long you've been swimming.

if you swim just during the summers, probably around a 40-45.

if you swim year round, more closely to a 35.

  3. for the zohan, about 3 seconds.  I think it's about a minute though

  4. im thinking 40 seconds? it matters thought if ur like really pro or just on a team.

  5. If you are going 33-34 you will win most.  This was my time at that age.  A good time would be 36-38.  This is competitive.

This year a time of 39.88 made consolations in championships in a league of 25 teams in a competitive area.
