Button Fights For His Second Consecutive Title Formula One

Jenson Button of McLaren is all set to take off, as he looks forward for the next Grand Prix. Ending at the second place here at the Canadian Grand Prix, he thinks that he had been able to bag enough points to stay as one of the strongest contenders of the season.
With these results Button had been able to stay in the race of the Formula One World title. He has already warned his rivals telling them that there is more to come.
The result of the Canadian Grand Prix has repeated the trend of the Turkish Grand Prix for McLaren. Jenson Button stood at the second place, for which he seems to be really happy. His team-mate, Lewis Hamilton had been able to grab the victory once again.
This back-to-back one-two finishes for two consecutive times had let the drivers stand with a difference of only three points, with Hamilton leading the tally with one hundred and nine points, whereas, Button stands at the second place in the Drivers’ Championship with a total of one hundred and three points. That brings together two hundred and fifteen points for McLaren, leaving Red Bull to chase them for twenty two points in the Constructors' Championship. There was a bag full of predictions before the race began but no one predicted the previous finish to be repeated for the now leading team.
Though standing at the tail of Hamilton for the second time, still Button happily exclaims that it would have surely been impossible to believe, if somebody had predicted the current standing of the team as well as of the two drivers before they went to Turkey. He added that at every race the Red Bulls have been obviously very quick, but somehow a very mixed and random trend had been shown in the entire season with new faces occupying the podium every time.
He added that with the current standing of his team, it could have been him at the front, however, this did not happen, yet he said that he is happy as still he had picked up some really good points. He also said that after being done with eight races, he and his team mate stand at a difference of just three points between them, so it is really fantastic.
Button had won the world championship last year as well, and now he is racing alongside Hamilton, again fighting for the championship, which he thinks is a great feeling for him. He had shown contentment with the way the season had gone so far, but he proclaims that there is a lot more in reserve for the upcoming races.
It was great for him as the 25 year old driver finished just behind Lewis after he started from the fourth place. This makes it evident that Hamilton would have to be at his best throughout the remaining season to keep his lead going on and that would mark his second world title.
However, as the season keeps unfolding this year the competitive environment is being phenomenal, with every Grand Prix the stats are changing surprisingly and one has to be at his best at all time. A single race can turn the scores completely, altering the positions of the drivers as well as the constructors all at once.
This year the sport has changed the perception of the fans as well as the drivers completely. Before you had to be good and get away with it, but now the competition has taken the most severe form. You have to be at your best every time you are on the track to stay ahead of others.
