  1. well i breed quials and i would recommend another female for starters as the male may get horny and mate every ten seconds withh the female and she may die because of that.

I would say on average they usually lay five eggs. i let mine breed naturaly so she incubates her eggs not a machine. It is always handy to have a cardboard box with al light in it incase she ditches them.

I wouldnt worry if she doesnt sit on her first egg straight away since my quails lay all eggs then sit on them. There is no food requirements for them but make sure u put some shell grit or cuttle fish so the hen can get her calcium up.

you may not want many quails so you can control the amount of eggs and then smash them or whatever you want. they are very easy to breed since once that male gets horny he just wont stop

    good luck!

  2. try going to http://www.zebrafinch.com/NewButtonQuail...

going to need an incubator or broody hen . broody bantam will hatch and rear the young, if incubator some form of heat lamp or brooder. google it and you Will get more info than you think

  3. It depends on the size of the quail.Bigger females will usually produce more eggs.
