Buy DVD recorder alone or DVD recorder/vcr combo?

i already have a fully functional VCR. All I need is to record old VHS to DVD. Is it cheaper to buy a DVD recorder alone or should i buy DVD recorder/Vhs combo system?

  1. I would go for a combo so you only have one piece oof equiment and no trouble with all wires from both pieces.

    Check this site, they recommend a few of these
