Buy Golf Cart?

I'm looking to buy a cheap used gas golf cart (for about $400.00) where would i look besides ebay and where should i start looking even locally? Would calling golf courses help?

start by either going on line and typing in golf carts or look yellow pages and than call around, most golf courses won't sell to people as they have a company that they deal with that sells and trades with them, so est to try golf cart sales first.

  you won't get much for 400.00 as they usually start about 1500 and up so if you find one real cheap make sure it runs good as batteries is the big expense and they run about 400.00 and last about 7 years.

  I own one and found thru the yellow pages, also try news papers classified as also a place to look. might be able to find one that the person died or just too old to use and find one cheaper but most will be around the price I told tou and even run up to over 6,000.

Have you tried looking in the classifieds? We bought two and that's where we found one of them. You may even put an ad in the paper saying you are looking for one. With the slow economy people are looking to sell non essential items. Good luck in your search.

you can spend $400 on new batteries.

have you any experience with these vehicles?

check you local laws about driving on the street etc.

do you know how they recharge?
