Buy a seat at Yankee Stadium?

Well since Yankee stadium is gonna be destroyed, their gonna sell the seats from the stadium.And I really want to get one. Does anyone know how I can get one and about how much a seat will cost? Any seat is fine with me.

They should inform the public in advance of the sale. The same thing happened with Tiger Stadium in Detroit last year, and they let everyone know a couple of weeks ahead of time. A website provided full instructions on how to order.

The seats were sold in pairs, and each set of two was $279 including shipping. I was fortunate enough to get a pair.

I assume the Yankees will also be selling them in pairs, but as for the price, who knows? Just the fact that they were a part of Yankee Stadium tells me they'll probably cost a little more than the ones from Tiger Stadium.

One thing is certain: When the supply of seats is gone, many of them will pop up on e-bay and other sites, and will be much more expensive. So try and get them directly from the original sale if possible.
