Buy and download pc games?

Is there a site where i can legally buy pc games and download them instead of having them shipped (I mean actual games like star wars battlefront 2 and Fable) i've tried game stop ebgames and all that. thanks alot guys.

I use Steam, though Direct2drive is a good alternative, also some companies run their own services too, such as Microsoft Marketplace, and EA store.

Steam is currnetly the most popualr, and offers alot of extra serives, and  server supprot for multipalyer gmaes ,as well as been home of The Orange Box
