The former Reading boss took over the reins of the Welsh side in July 2010. He helped them get promoted to the Premier League this season, after winning the play-off final against Reading in May 2011, at Wembley.
Rodgers is considered to be the leading contender for a managerial post at White Hart Lane, with reports of Harry Redknapp likely to assume charge of the English national squad, doing the rounds. However, the 39 year old expressed satisfaction over his current

“I didn't put any clause in my contract to say if a top-four club comes in then I can speak to them. Not at all,” he said.
“The only item that was in the contract was if a big club came in and wanted me, and the chairman and I felt it was right for us to move on, then I wanted the club to benefit from it.”
The former Irish footballer, who has also managed Chelsea’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 in 2004, has guided the Swans to 60 wins in 146 matches under his tenure.
He mentioned that he is currently having a great time at Swansea, and would like to spend a long spell with the club, that has made great strides in a short span of time. At the same time, he expressed his desire of managing a team, competing in the Champions
League.
"I think every manager will tell you the same, they want to get to the top of the mountain and have the opportunity to challenge for trophies and work at that level."
However, Spurs who have also kept Jose Mourinho and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes on their target list, have the potential to pull the Irishman from Swansea, despite the presence of the buy-out clause in this contract.
The North London club had earlier prized out Harry Redknapp from Portsmouth in 2008, for five million pounds.
A source knowledgeable on the matter mentioned that Rodgers won’t rush into the decision of a possible move to White Hart Lane, as he still lacks the experience of managing a top four team. He was of the opinion that the Spurs will be aiming to hire Everton’s
manager, David Moyes for the job instead, as he has got a vast experience of playing in the Premier League.
