Buy stuff from your Neighbors?

My teacher was talking about a website where you can join and connect with people in your area. They all post the things they're selling and arrange meetings to come and pick them up. It's a great place to get the word out about garage sales and random junk you want to get rid of. But I can't find the address, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Or it could be Craigs List - I believe there is a section on there for "free" items that people want to dispose of.

cheapcycle perhaps or craiglist

Freecycle and cheapcycle are Yahoo gropups so go to www.yahoo.com in the left column click on groups and look for the ones for your area.
