Buy the card, or make the card?

my bf's bday is on the 20th sept, and it is his lucky bday... well, i`m a bit choosy when it comes to cards... since it is his lucky bday, i wanted one more special and the way i want it... should i make it? i already had done one for him for last xmas, and he really liked it.. but is making 2 cards a bit much? or is it best if i buy it?

Make the card, it is more personal and shows that you appreciate the person you are making it for and don't mind spending time making it for them. Ready made cards may be cheaper but the handmade one shows your feelings.

Make it, it's more personal if you take the time to make it.

You never know you might have a flare of it & it could be the start of a small business opportunity.

you can buy those hallmark ones, that when you open it, it starts to play a song or you can record something on the card 2.

Make it, because its always more personal that way, but if you do start making them, he will start to expect you to make it every time, and then you would only disappoint him if you bought one. If its not that much trouble for you to make it, then just make it, and it will make him feel appreciated that you care about him enough to make one.

Well, a Christmas card & a birthday card are two different things. Make a card, & if it doesn't turn out well, buy one.
