Question:

Buyers rights?

I bought a Fendi bag from ebay which was described as authentic, but when I received it I have since found it is fake. I have contacted the seller to request a refund but they havn't got back to me and this was over 2 weeks ago.

I paid £180 for this via bank transfer, does anyone know if I have any rights or if there is anything I can do?

Thanks

  1. Ebay actually has a pretty good dispute resolution program and, in some cases, will actually refund all or a portion of your money to you.  If I remember right, you start the process by clicking "report it" from the drop box to the right of your purchased item in your purchased item summary (the same one used to leave feedback).  If possible, try to find all the contacts you had made/received for the transaction to submit as a showing of good-faith; it will help you in the process.  Good luck to you!
