Buyin a car!!!!!!!!!?

Hey you guys! I'm a 19 your old guy who is wanting to buy a sport car (muscle or racer). I am willing to spend up to 10 grands (because i am a college student). Any advice on which car I should buy? I want something that is powerful, customizable, and is ok looking. For example.. i want something that will look good with a custom muffler, spoiler, or MAYBE a bodykit, or just a custome bumper...

I was lookin at mustangs (from the models of 2000-2005) but some people told me fords breakdown too easily and need alot of maintenance. so i was lookin at Camaro for a while, and then Civics (even tho they're challenged in HP).

Please! any advice????

also, manual transmission or auto? what year? please include any additional recommendations or advice.. i want to spend my money wisely.. because i dont have much of it to spare.. :P

$6,000 99 to 2001 Mustang V6

$8,000 V8 1999 to 2000

$10,000 V6 2003 or a V8 2001

stick with these engines and years

ok, i grew up with a ford van. we had it for 15 years with no problems for a family of 6. if ur looking at mustangs, which are one of my favorite cars, then u should look at the old ones. like a '65 or a '66. all old muscle cars are great. these new cars arent really all that good looking. even the mustangs. go old for hot cars. ull like it.

you cant really get any good cars with 10 grand. but u can get a chrysler 2003 crossfire for like 13grand. they are super sporty two doors,automatic spoiler/wing/built from a modify mercedes c class engine & suspension. look it up a new one would cost 30+ and a 2003 cost 13k
