Buying A Ford Focus...What Should I Look Out For??? Many Thanks!!?

I had my heart set on buying a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2, but now i have found out there is not much difference in insurance prices so i know want a Ford Focus.

I havent done allot of research on Focus's and am not really familiar with them, is there anything that i should look out for when i go to view advertised Focus's.

i have 2500 to spend and am looking at 1.8 zetecs and 14's. Probably around w and y reg (2000 - 2001).

Any suggestions would be a great help...Cheers!

ps, I wouldn't replace the cambelt on a 1.2 Corsa, they're chain driven!
