Question:

Buying Colored Contacts?

Everywhere I go to try and buy Acuvue 2 Colors, they only have a diameter of 14.0 and a base curve of either 8.3 or 8.7. On my regular Proclear perscription I have a diameter of 14.5 and a base curve of 8.6. Is it okay for me to go ahead and buy the Acuvue 2 Colors online and get the 14.0 diameter and the base curve of 8.7 or is it really important to be exact?

Please Help! :)

  1. I just answered that 15 minutes ago in your first question.

Besides having to have a prescription for that brand before you can order them, you really don't want to buy colored lenses without having tried them on first at your eyecare provider.

Even if the BC was exactly the same doesn't mean they will fit the same as your other lenses. Colored lenses are not the best fitting lenses on many people.
