Buying DVD's as a gift for overseas???

Question

I want to send my wife in Canada a couple of DVD's in the correct regional format to play on her TV- is this possible through Amazon? I have an Amazon UK account, but not for North America. Anyone done this before? I want it as a surprise for her, so can't use her Amazon account. I'm UK based.

I use amazon.co.uk and I am from the US. All of their international sites operate the same.

You can use amazon.com or amazon.ca to send her something. Just create a new login when you do!
