I want to make some welding caps and I need fabric that would appeal to grown men.... cars, motorcycles, pin-up girls, etc.... Do you know of any good websites that has them and that is not that expensive?

  1. JoAnn Fabric stores have a good selection of "novelty prints." Those would be fun prints of the items you mentioned (except pin up girls). Good Luck.

  2. just go to fabric land. They have EVERYTHING!! Plus its easier than going on line.

  3. You can go to your local fabric shop, or Jo-Ann's, Michael's or Wal-Mart and have a look around.  Also check your Sunday paper for Jo-Ann's or Michael's 40% off coupon, they consider one cut length of fabric to be a single item, and will often accept each other's coupons.

I recommend you use wool or 100% cotton for the caps because they are less flammable than polyester.

  4. hobbycraft in the uk. i got some really smart tractors for my son.

abakhan in the uk, i got some john deere stuff.

    both have websites.

    both are fairly cheap

  5. www.fabric.com

The search feature is excellent; put in "cars" and you'll get a large assortment of fabrics.

  6. Also look at Hancock's Fabrics
