Buying PSP in the US?

Hi, I live in the netherlands. My dad is off to the US for work for a week. I asked him to buy me a PSP there since its about half of what it would cost here. Will this PSP work in Europe though? I dunno if the powersuppy is different or whatever. I also wanted the go explore GPS but will that only have yank maps? What should I want to be carefull about?

No just get the PSP. there shouldn't be any problems. My friend travels around with his, and its no biggy.
