  1. petsmart

  2. petco all the way.

  3. Well, it really depends. I would get to know the employees, and see how they care for the animals, if they are alert to injured/sick animals, keep the cages properly cleaned, etc.

Where I live, both Petco & PetSmart has pet-knowledgeable employees, but other places I have lived, provided minimal pet care and didn't care if they sold a sick/injured pet.

It really just depends on the individual store. Check them out, do your math, and go with whichever store is providing the best pet care.

  4. depends on what kinda pet small rodents are good from petco petsmart is good 4 fish!!!

  5. I would rather go to Petco because it is more pet friendly there and Petsmart doesn't sell dogs. Petco has kitties out on the weekends and you can pet them. They have a larger variety of pets and animal pet supplies. Hope I helped. :)

  6. PETCO- Because there pets like rodents and reptiles live longer and there alot cheaper too its better to buy them from there also because they have more stuff that you can buy for pets and cost cheaper than petsmart/Petvaule.

  7. I personally like petco. I have gotten a lot of good pet supplies, and a few pets from them. The people that work there are nice and show great care for the pets they have there. I was there the other day and there was a trailer outside in the parking lot of the north shore animal league with a bunch of kittens to adopt.I don't know petsmart that well, but i have been going to petco with my parents and grandparents forever.      Hope this helps.

  8. PETCO....Much better. I have been to over 10 petco's in Maryland and they have been so much nicer there. At least the people there seem to care more about the pets. Although really all the animals are coming from horrible places.

  9. PETSMART ALL THE WAY !they ae boycotting petco for animal cruelty.

  10. There is currently a boycott on Petco because of animal cruelty issues. (Sick animals, dying animals. Sick animals are placed in the freezer as a method of euthanasia. Some people do this with fish, however Petco has been caught doing this with mammals.)

PetSmart generally has a vet on site (Banfield) and they do not sell dogs and cats. They do treat sick rodents, birds etc (and here, lower cost at Petco is not a good thing.) They host local rescue organizations on weekends to bring dogs and cats for adoption. I would not go to a pet store that sold dogs and cats. The previous PetSmart boycott has been lifted because they improved the sorts of issues that still plague Petco. That being said, Petco is also having some trouble because their small animal breeders are not treating animals correctly, so the issue is relative.

  11. i always go to petsmart but i guess since everyone is saying that petco is better then petco it is
