Which is better the Arcade or the new 60GB model? Also is there really going to be a price drop in september and for which model? And do you need to buy store warranty when a new console comes with a warranty from Microsoft? Last question. How do you set up the on-line through the Ethernet cable? (I only know how to set up wi-fi but don't want to spend the extra money)

  1. 60GB! but price drop has only been temporary because they are phasing out the 20GB one. After they are all sold out the price of the 60GB will be $299. Its only temporary.

  2. One answer to resolve all you questions. Scrap the 360 idea and get a PS3.

  3. well dont get arcade version because u regret it not having a hard drive

60gb is nice amount space and has all new chip sets 4 sure

yes price drop in sept i have aready seen a ad for the elit 50 dollors cheaper

no u dont need buy a store warranty (you can  buy wrranty if u liek so u can return it to the store if something gose wrong  vs shiping for 2-3 weeks  xbox been geting alot better  so ya if u buy 1 year warranty might be a waste   go best buy and get like 2-3 year warranty if u want one

theres 3 year warranty on rrod

with online all u do is plus ethernet cable in back of xbox and plug other end  in router/modem  and then you click join xbox live on the dash board

  4. if your ganna use alot of hard drive then 60gb if not then arcade and its really easy to hook up

  5. 1) 60GB model has more memory which is very useful. 2) Not that I've heard of but there will be eventually as all consoles have a price drop dew to how new it is. 3) The only thing really that wrecks a 360 most commonly is the 3 red rings of death which Microsoft will give you an automatic extra 3 year warranty upon receiving these 3 rings. 4) Either find a phone jack or a jack somewhere on your computer.

    Hope this helps!

  6. The new one is beter as it has an anti red ring added to it so you shouldnt get the overheating problems the old arcade ones have. I dont know of any price drops but historicly every 3 years there is a bit of one. you dont need the store warranty unless you plan of spilling stuff on them or something. Once you plug in your ethernet cable you just make a name for xbox live and it walks you through everything
