If you are planning to just go to Yankee Stadium the day of a game and get tickets, that is a bit risky. You might luck out and get tickets but then again, you might not. And there are always scalpers but you will probably wind up paying a lot more. Why don't you order them from yankees.com? There are still tickets left for less popular games.

I highly doubt it would be possible to buy Yankee tickets directly from the stadium.  Try buying them online at places like http://www.ticketplace.info

at the stadium, yes! from the stadium, no. you will have to buy from scalpers more than likely.

No. Most of the games sell out and the later you get to a game in the season, the less likely there will be tickets. I would get them beforehand if I were you.

EDITTED: Rooster is right. There are always gonna be scalpers there selling tickets for about four times their normal value.
