Buying a 2005 CBR 600f4i?

Question

It has 3100 miles and is in great condition. has a little rash on the right fairing but nothing serious. i took it to my mechanic and he said it seemed fine. the guys asking price was 5500 but eventually said he would settle for 4500. is this a good price, are these good bikes.

That's about $1,000 less than they are going for locally.

My buddy has that exact same year bike. He loves it. He beats the daylights out of it, and I don't think it has ever let him down.

If I were in the market, I would be all over it.

my buddies have 07 cbr 600's and they love them fun to ride and race. i would say they are good bikes and look good too
