Buying a 2007 Tahoe.?

Question

Ok, so this dealership is selling a 07 tahoe for $19,900 that is not limited, meaning it doesn't have the leather seats and all that good stuff, but either way it still looks nice. The truck already has 40k miles on it. Even though its a lot of mile for an 07 the truck runs like new and has never ben damaged in any way. Is it possible to get it for $17,000 with a down payment of say $10,000-12,000. Im still doing research that way i wont get ripped off.

I would continue to talk him down.  $17,000 sounds reasonable for this vehicle considering gas prices and reduced demand for large SUVs.
