Buying a 37' flat panel tv. Should i go 720p or 1080p? is there a big diference?

  1. On a 37" TV no, go with possibly a cheaper 720p model.


  2. Of course the 1080p would be better, but for the extra money you wouldn't even be able to tell a big difference.  I have a 37" 720p, and it looks great.

  5. The human eye cannot really tell the difference between 720p/1080i and 1080p..even on bigger tv's..so I say save some cash and go with the 720p/1080i. Plus..unless you plan on buying a BLU-RAY player or maybe a PS3, nothing will utilize the 1080p. HD cable boxes broadcast 1080i at the highest.
