It's not as complicated as it sounds ;) I just want to know where I can get one retail without getting killed on the price, but hopefully not a dollar-store type product...

  1. The Bible is my most precious possesion. It's the word of God. I don't think you can really put a price on God's word so whatever the price it's a really good deal =)

  2. lifeway and familey book store are some places.

  3. barnes and nobles

they should have a wide selection, and remember that you shouldn't scrimp on your bible

  4. Wal-Mart sells a variety of Bibles.

  5. On bookstores there is a space designated for religious books.  Be sure to buy the version which is the nearest translation from the original Hebrew version and this is the King James Version.  Be careful with translations that says for easier reading, so they change some words and thus changing the real message.  It is prohibited in the Bible to change even a single period.

  6. Go to a church, usually they give them away for free because they want you to read them.

You can also just stop by a hotel and take one from the desk drawers. They're provided for anyone who wants to take one to have it.

As for stores I'd try a Mardel

  7. I went to a Christan book store. They have sales all of the time. It's nice because you can chose one to your taste, how it feels in your hand, ...and the type you're most interesting ex: type of verbiage.

    I prefer King James

My sister likes one with a concordance

  8. I recently bought a really nice Bible from this website. The retail price was $30 and I was able to by it for $12. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Hope this helps!
