Buying a Chi... should i? PLEASE ANSWER?

Im thinking about buying chi for my hair...i have short hair, and i want a really good quality straightener... please let me know ur experience or if i should look at anotehr brand... all answers welcome! thanks! (btw im looking at the original, or the camo collection)

Get a GHD.

I had a Chi once and I honestly thought it was about the same quality as a Target flat iron.

GHDs last forever! I've had mine for 5 yrs ;P

My sister's just died, it's not worth it. Get a GHD, a little more expensive but it won't die on ya.

Yes.

I love my Chi. I use it for everything, straightening, styling, waving, curling, etc. It doesn't fry your hair like other straighteners. Chi's are the only ones that ever actually ever worked on my hair without spending over an hour just to have straight hair. I swear I've bought 5 different brands that everyone brags about, and my hair wouldn't look any different after 20 minutes. I bought a Chi, 5 minutes later, all my hair is exactly how I want it. (then again, my hair is just stubborn.)

Though sometimes, after a lot of TLC the swivel cord gets stupid, and turns off. That can get annoying. But my original Chi went through h**l with me. I swear, I dropped it on tile hundreds of times, left it on for DAYS because I'd forget to turn it off, and it still lasted 4 or 5 years. It probably would have lasted longer if I would have given it more love.
