  2. That's a matter of preference. I very much so like Specialized cause of the quality, feel ,comfort, reliability, and warranty they give with new bikes. You can also take advantage of the sales going on for free equipment and the bike shops also sometimes offer free tune ups for the first year, but Cannondale, Trek, Gary Fisher, and Scott are very nice bikes too as well as GT. Just look around at a few bike shops and try out as many bikes as possible in your price range then decide which one is the absolute best feeling one comfort wise as well as how fun the bike is for you. Don't forget to seriously shop around before making a quick decision. just about every Brand i mentioned should have something in your price range. Good luck.

  3. well it depends on where you ride your bike it also depends  on what feels comfortable

  4. umm i also am a fan of specialized they are good quaity always pretty good part specs and all different price ranges.....and if u do road and some dirt riding u could look at a cyclocross bike they are a road bike with thicker type tires i race them and its really fun can take lots of places i ride a redline conquest pro ......pretty cheap check them out just search redline bikes at google
