Buying a Semi auto AK-47

Question

I live in Oregon and id like to know what i will need to purchase a AK-47 off the internet. Like licenses and fees.. ect. Also what happens when the gun is transfered to a FFL dealer? Do i pay the FFL dealer anything or do i just pick up the weapon? And i heard i need a signiture from a sheriff? Here the gun im looking at..

With shipping and transfer fees, you can add around $100 to the price on that site. If I was you, I'd call around and see if you can buy that locally. Those are pretty common.

I dont know about the laws in Oregon pertaining to a law enforcement signature, thats something to call the sheriffs office and inquire about.  When you buy a gun online, you have to have a copy of the FFL that the firearm will be shipped to faxed to the seller so they can verify as well as include in their paperwork the dealers FFL.  Most if not all FFL holders charge a fee of 25 dollars on up to recieve a firearm, and you need to find a reputable gun shop that will allow the use of their FFL and talk to them to get it ok'd.  Lastly, once the firearm arrives you have to fill out a backround check form that also registers the firearm and thats it.  Its pretty easy, just make sure to check the local laws to make sure that they arent going to have a problem with it.

Hey wanna get AK-47 you can get it for cheap if you come to Thiland-Burma border area.. They sell it around $100 or less This is where those criminals and terrorists around the world get their AK 47's.. Bewarn.. This area is pretty dangerous so you have to keep your head up and watch your back all the time.. Who care if it is legit way to get it.. as long as you use it to pop someone's head..And you don't need anyone signature to get one here.. And if they ask for a signature just blow their head off with you AK! OK??

If it's semi auto, I don't think you need a license. i'm pretty sure they just mail it and you pick it up as long as you pass all the background checks.
