What is the 'Face detection' and the 'ISO range'?

Is it important to have these things?

Is it important to have digital anti blur, Continuous shooting &

In-camera red eye fix? thanks xx

  1. Face recognition tracks the faces that will be in the picture and makes sure that they are always in focus.

    ISO can range from 100 to 3200 in modern cameras, and is vital for outdoor, High Shutter Speeds etc.

    Both are important for any level Photographer, when in a Point and Shoot Camera.

    Anti Blur is helpful...NIKON has VR-Vibration Reduction  and Canon has IS-Image Stabilization.

    That feature makes photographing moving objects easier..(kids, pets, sports, etc.)

    Continuous Shooting is Fun and Can help execute a series of Pictures for sports or anythin that is in motion.

    BUT sometimes continuous DOESNT always matter because  the slow continuous modes offered on point and shoot cameras miss a lot of the action.

    Red Eye Reduction is VERY VERY useful in point and shoot cameras because the flash is usually located directly over the lens, which greatly increases  the probability of Red Eye
