Buying a car-Volvo or Mini Cooper?

Question

I plan on getting a car soon, and I'm down to 2 choices: a volvo or a mini cooper. both would be used, but newer models. I can't decide, and was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on these cars (pros, cons) if you've ever owned, driven one, or if you just know a lot about cars.

I dont like either....I go with Saabs

The Mini Cooper is a fad car.

While the Volvo maybe too (based on the model) I doubt it.

I will own a car till it drops, so I would go with the Volvo. Because I think the novelty of the Mini will quickly fade and you will wish that its style was not so dated.

volvo's arent what they use to be ever since ford aqquired volvo theyre reliability hasnt been all that great

id rather go with the mini, its more of a car for younger poeple, its fun to drive and im sure you will get better gas mileage with the mini. plus the mini will have a better resale value because bmw makes mini

Mini Cooper. It holds better resale value than most (if not all) cars on the road today. It may be a bit small, but you will have a lot fun with it and save some gas in the process.
