Buying a car cd player!!?

Question

i am buying a used pioner car cd player from somebody, theyre selling it for only 20$, now the price is awsome but i still think theres probably something wrong it it because its too cheap, how do i find out it works without having to install it and wire it on my car? Is there any other way to turn it on?

Its probably stolen...and you need a 12 volt source to turn it on....you can just connect it to a car battery....that way you can check if there is something wrong with it
