Buying a cute puppy?

well im buying a puppy at pet world and its a pug whos owner just left him on the street all by himself hes 6 months do you think its a good idea

I suppose, but dont buy from petstores.

Dogs there usually come from puppy mills, although petstore owners never admit it.

If you dont know what a puppy mill is, go on youtube and look up

I bought a dog at the pet stores and there's nothin really wrong with him. He's just kind of hyper. I think you should go with your gut. If you want to give a dog a good home then go for it. :)

If he looks like he is in good health, sure.  Makes me wonder why someone would leave him if he looks good?

no, the dog could be sick. my friend bought her dog from a pet store, and he had heart worms, stomach worms and something else, she had to pay a lot of many for the vet. pet stores don't care much about the animals, but they want to make profit. you can get a really cute pug, for 2 months old, and for a way cheaper price. being cute isn't the only thing that matters when buying a puppy, you shouldn't feel sorry for it.  you might regret it after. this lady bought a puppy form the pet store, and it had been sold to them buy a man, a street dealer for puppies. she brought it home and two weeks later it had 10 seizures in one day, and it died. you don't have to go through this. buy from a breeder, it's the best thing you can do. good luck, make the right choice.

i don't really think so...maybe get one from a breeder? if he left him on the street he probably wasn't  a good dog...but do wat your heart tells you to =]
