Buying a digital SLR...

I'm planning on buying a digital SLR in september. i looking for a nikon D80 for under $1,000. any suggestions?

Nikon D80s are typically under $1000 but if you find a deal that's too good to be true don't buy it. Type in the site in google and look for reviews or any RIP OFF REPORTS. Remember some reviews are fake. Go for the sites with the most reviews...(over 2000) by the way I have the D60 and I love that...you may want to consider that too

You may find that by September, the price of a D80 will be lower with the introduction of a new replacement camera in its class.

Well it sounds like you already know what camera you want. I'd suggest you go into a store and try it out first though to make sure you're comfortable with it.
