Buying a new JL amp?

Question

I want to buy my boyfriend a new car amp - his last one was a JL 600/1 4ohms, but I can't seem to find that kind. I was wondering if a JL 1000/1v2 would work. I don't know much about his subwoofer? or anything.

JL has never made a 600/1.  Are you sure it's not a JL 500/1?

Wouldn't recommend increasing wattage 500W.  If you're not sure, you can buy a 500/1V2.  Should be a suitable replacement.

Your boyfriend's a lucky guy.  Very few women would offer to buy their man a JL1000/1V2, even as a gift.

it is always better to upgrade,u can buy him the 1000/1v2 and then he would be able to upgrade to better or bigger speakers if he wishes too,plus u will make him a very happy person ,jl audio is made of very high quality materials and any one would love to have that bigger amp,and he does not have to use the bigger one full blast he he dont want too
