  3. Ok so the deal is, the Fit and the Versa are not going to have much mark up, depending on the model you buy it may only have a $500 dollar mark up.  So you should not go in and expect a lot of money off of the sticker price.  Make sure they do not mark the car up on you, some dealers that sell these cars will put additional dealer mark up on them to make more money.  Some dealers will put a c.d. player in the car, they only paid $300 for the player and they charge you $695 or they tint the windows, their cost is $160 and they charge you $295 etc.

Go to edmunds.com look up the invoice and the sticker price that way you will know what you are paying.  Take your time and do not rush into something.

Read the contracts and make them explain every number or fee they are charging you for.

You are looking at 2 great cars, I would go with the Fit, I think Honda is the best built car in the world....Good Luck.

  4. Dont buy a new car.  You'll only be tied down and have to pay for that car for 3 or 4 years.  Why?  Just lease a car instead, you'll get tired of that car in 2 years anyway.   If you lease it you can let it go and lease another new baby.
