Buying a new computer?

if i buy a new computer from staples, wal mart, future shop, best buy or some other store, what should i get with it, i already have a mouse keyboard and screen, what programs should i install like antivirus so my comp doesnt mess again and what else?

you should use the norton antivirus programs. Make sure you get a cd burner. they come in handy these days. as well as a printer. hp is wat i have and have had no trouble out of it.

web browser: firefox (free)

and whatever else you might need

download AVG for free (8.0 version).

If you want a gaming machine, get quad core with 512+ graphics card, 2+GB RAM.

If you just want a machine for basic stuff, and media, get something not too pricey.

get speakers with it, printer, wireless router if you want to aswell.

Don't pay for any antivirus software just get spybot.
