Buying a punching Bag?

Question

I'm looking for a punching bag. I'm not even sure what I should buy but I know I need one that doesn't hang and is just a standard heavy bag. (Not a speed bag.) I need it to be on a stand that can adjust. Does anyone know where I can find relatively inexpensive ones or at least can give me some good information about what I should be looking for when I buy one?

Always check for dead bodies inside.

Almost any bag/stand combo will cost you a hundred twenty US dollars or more. Just make sure it doesn't fall apart at the first punch. Also, you never want to get a bag that weighs too little. Generally the bag should weigh half as much as you.

what i would see if its sturdy... try punching it hard, but not that hard,  you don't damage it
