  1. if you dont know anything about a snowboard then dont buy one first, for beginners, rent one instead.

  2. Well, before I go on to answer, I'm going to say that renting at least a few times is going to be a good idea. Now that that's out of the way, on we go.

You are going to need to buy a board, boots, and bindings separately  for the most part, but many places do offer packages of the three.

It's impossible to tell you what size of board you are going to want without knowing your weight, height, riding style, and what type a snow you'll mostly be riding. Based on your question, I'm assuming that you are new to the sport, and you are going to want some soft boots and bindings as they are going to be far more forgiving to a new rider.

This can all be best summed up in one sentence:

Head out to your local shop and have them hook you up with what you need and answer all of your questions.

  3. board should be up to your chin

    u gotta buy the bindings

    buy the boots

    they are all expensive

  4. En general, un snowboard serait jusqu'au nez.  Les mechanismes (binding) sont diverses.  Donc, des boots ont des boucles, mais des arrangments sont un snowboard avec ces ceintures aux mechanismes pleines.
