Buying a used boat?

Question

When buying a used ski boat (like an 1980's or 90's Mastercraft), how many engine hours is too much. I'm looking at one at 500 engine hours, and another at 750 engine hours. Is that a lot? Typically, how many hours does a mastercraft or nautique run to?

i would be more worried about a boats maintenence than the hours.

No, I don't think that is a lot.  You can expect to get double that amount.  Have a look at this link.
