Buying a used car??

Is spening 3,000 dollars ok for buying a first used car, well i know someone that is, he is giving me a good price cause it my parents friend. how long do you think it would take to get the money for the car, if i am just starting out. I don't have a job yet, but am planing on to. The car is a lexus, not sure what kind, but are lexus's good on gas milage?

It depends... $3000 is fine for a first car, but it really depends on which car and mileage.

Lexuses in general get ok gas mileage, but again... it depends on which car or suv.

Check www.kbb.com to see how much the car is worth. You'll need to find out the model and mileage of the car you're looking at.

with a job u could roughly have ur car in a couple months and a lexas can be good on gas depending on if it has a 8 or six cylinder in it  if it is a six it will be decent on gas
