Buying cellphone online?

I am thinking of buying the ATT Go-Phone, Pantech C150, to replace my previous phone. I currently have the Pay As You Go Plan (25 cents a minute). The question I have is: Can I just buy the phone online and insert the SIm card from my previous phone (which is also an ATT Pantech)? Or... do I have to buy the phone and a new plan and sim card?

You can just buy the Pantech phone and pop your sim card in the phone when you get it. Basically pop and go. Everything should work. Plan should remain the same. Nope, you will not need a new plan or sim card.
