Buying food in the Netherlands?

Specifically Amsterdam. I am going from Tuesday to Saturday, how much money will I need for food? I think my hotel is breakfast included, and I don't want to go to fancy restaurants, so how much do you think I will need each day?

Around Leidseplein you will find decent (not fancy) restaurants which can give you a good meal for as little as 5 Euro (approx $ 6,50)

If you go to a supermarket, and just do rolls and cheese, you could end up having to pay around 3 Euro.

But, with drinks and all that, and the option to feel ' full ' - i would stick to a minimum of $15 / day. (and don`t forget lunch).

If the breakfast is included - eat well so you can skip lunch.

depends on how you like to eat...there are nice Indian restaurants that will cost you $30+ or there are shoppes that you can eat for $6-$10. you can go to the supermarket and get some bread and cheese, too
