  1. that wouln't work because the gas you don't buy for 2 days you'll buy it the day next to those 2 days.

one thing that could work is to STOP buying gas from 2 or 3 large companies.

for exemple: if no one would buy gas from BP or another big company, they would be forced to drop the price and the other companies had to follow in order not to loose the customers.

everyone  knows the rise in price is not about short supply, its about money (just like the war in iraq)

  2. Karen was right on, until the wise *** remark about the war....

  3. That's an awesome question as well as idea. If you have email you more than likely have received an email or two that suggest this very thing on a particular date. I am not sure if it works since there is no one person or group organizing the protest. Which I think causes the idea to slip folks minds.

The idea is awesome & could very well work if a group put themselves behind the idea & fed the protest to many many folks to do (maybe even on a repetitions cycle). I actually find it hard to believe that not one group has jumped on this idea & used it to advertise it's own company through sponsoring the event/s.

For OUR sake lets pray someone/group grabs this & runs with it, I DO have belief in how well a great number of people can move large price gouging selfish monopolizing thieves like oil companies. If I hear of these type of events I will do my best to inflict as much pain I possibly could onto these sorry companies / groups.
