Buying guitars?

does any one no where i can get a really cheadp guitar and be able to convince my parents to let me buy it?

You can look in the want ads or go on e bay or lawn sales. As for convincing your parents thats up to you. But if you do get one and stick with practing and playing it for a long term it might encourage them to support your hobbie or even some future desisions.I would stick with a guitar for 50 to 100$ to start with and then up grade after a year or so.

Ask your Dad to take you to a pawn shop.  They have the best deals because there are a lot of down and out musicians who have to take their guitars in to get cash.  Offer to do some chores to earn it.  Also check craigslist for your area.  Someone may be selling one cheap.  I have seen good guitars for $50 or less.  Also, lots of people have guitars sittiing around that they don't use - find out - maybe you will luck out and an aunt or uncle or cousin will dig one out of the basement for you.
